디스크 매체를 등 선속도로 회전시키는 모터의 상태를 검출해서 모터를 확실하게 정지시킴으로써 모터 및 그 주변 회로를 보호하기에 적합한 모터의 상태 검출 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명은 소정의 정보 신호 및 동기 신호가 기억된 디스크 매체를 등 선속도로 회전시키는 모터, 상기 디스크 매체의 동기 신호의 주파수에 따라 상기 디스크 매체의 회전을 가속하기 위한 가속 신호 또는 상기 디스크 매체의 회전을 감속하기 위한 감속 신호를 출력하는 서보 수단, 상기 서보 수단의 가속 신호 또는 감속 신호에 기초하여 상기 모터를 구동하기 위한 구동 신호를 출력하기 위한 드라이버 수단, 상기 모터의 역기전압 및 상기 드라이버 수단의 구동 신호에 기초하여 상기 모터의 상태를 나타내는 검출 신호를 출력하는 상태 검출 수단, 및 상기 검출 수단의 검출 신호에 기초하여 상기 서보 수단을 제어하는 판정 수단을 구비하고, 상기 판정 수단은 상기 모터의 상태에 따라 상기 모터를 정상 상태로 하기 위한 지시 신호를 출력한다. The microcomputer 8 Judges that the disk medium 1 is in the normal operation state as the detected signal (c) of 'L' and the detected signal (d) of 'H' are applied more than the specified time, and prohibits that the servo circuit 3 outputs a command signal. Therefore, the servo circuit 3 repeats comparison of frequencies of a synchronizing signal and a reference clock, and the normal operating state of the disk medium 1 is continued.
