본 발명은 체크밸브 등을 필요로하지 않는 간단한 구성으로 안정적으로 소정의 세정성능을 얻을 수 있는 동시에 세정소음의 저감을 도모한 식기세정기를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한 것이며, 그 구성에 있어서, 세정조(1)(90)와, 식기를 수납하는 식기바구니(2)(91)와, 세정수를 분사하는 세정노즐(5)(87)과, 모터(19),(98)의 회전에 의해 세정수를 가압하는 펌프(3)(92)와, 상기 모터(19)(98)의 정역반전수단(20)(99)을 가지고, 상기 모터의 회전축을 대략 연직방향으로 설치하는 동시에, 상기 펌프는 제1임펠러(9)(83)에 의해 세정노즐에 세정수를 토출하는 제1케이싱(10)(84)과, 제2와류형 임펠러(11)(80)에 의해 기밖으로 세정수를 배출하는 제2케이싱(12)(82)과, 이들 제1케이싱과 제2케이싱(12)(82)과 세정조(1)(90)에 연통하는 세정수안내부(15)(95)를 구비한 것으로서, 세정 및 배수용 펌프를 1개로 해결함으로써 세정기구를 축소하고, 세정용적을 확대할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 한 것이다. The invention aims to provide a dish washer for improving the effects of cleaning and water discharging and the capacity to receive dishes. The dish washer comprises a cleaning chamber (1), a dish basket (2), a cleaning nozzle (5) and a water pump (3) to pressurize water via rotation of a motor (19), and means (20) for rotating motor (19) in forward and reverse directions. The rotary shaft of motor (19) is mounted substantially in a vertical direction. Pump (3) comprises first blades (9) to expel water toa first casing (10) of the cleaning nozzle, second blades (11) for discharging water to a second casing (12) which is at the exterior of the device, and a cleaning water quide part (15) communicated with first and second casings (11) and (12) and cleaning chamber (1), whereby the dish washer enhances the effects of cleaning and reduces water noise during cleaning and discharging while decreasing cost and increasing the capacity to receive dishes even though the construction of the dish washer is miniaturized.
