PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of a device and to execute clean development without having unequal development densities by bringing a photosensitive material and color developing paper into pressurized contact with each other by means of rollers and a stage and providing notches to either of the rollers or stage. CONSTITUTION:The rollers 52, 52' which are the pressurizing means for bringing the photosensitive material 59 and the color developing paper 61 into pressurized contact with each other are movable for the purpose of scanning the photosensitive material 59 and the color developing paper 61. Either of the rollers or the stage is partly notched to prevent the contact pressure between the rollers 52, 52' and the stage 7 from rising higher in both end parts in the direction orthogonal with the rolling direction of the rollers than in the other parts. The shape and pressurizing force of the pressurizing means can, therefore, be fairly reduced and the need for using powerful spring members and increasing the mechanical strength of the respective parts is consequently eliminated. Furthermore, the parts where the contact pressure between the rollers and the stage rises abnormally high are eliminated. The clean development without having the unequal development densities is thereby executed with the small size at the low cost.
