Summary:PURPOSE: To reduce the bulk of materials to be pulverized and to improve the bite property to rollers by exciting the materials to be pulverized which are supplied onto a table, thereby densely packing the particles of the materials to be pulverized. CONSTITUTION: An oscillation horn 4 formed by joining a sonic signal transmitter and vibration horn as an excitation means is so installed that the excitation source attains a non-contact state above the layer of the materials 3 to be pulverized. The layer of the materials 3 to be pulverized on the table 1 existing in a coarsely packed state finely vibrates by receiving the sound wave energy by excitation of the excitation horn 4 to change the packing state. Namely, the layer of the materials 3 to be pulverized are bitten into a roller 2 in the state of the dense packing state like the materials 3' to be pulverized under selected vibration conditions.
