Summary: | NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I. USE:A ligand of a catalyst for asymmetric synthesis, forming an extremely important complex as an asymmetric synthetic catalyst together with a metallic element such as rhodium, and remarkably enhancing the conversion rate in asymmetric synthesis. PREPARATION:Phosphorus oxychloride is initially reacted with diethylamine in benzene while cooling with an ice to form N,N-diethylamidedichlorophosphate expressed by formula II. Then the compound is reacted with a Grignard reagent expressed by formula III, which is obtained from p-bromoanisole, in THF (tetrahydrofuran), and the resultant product is reacted with thionyl chloride to afford di-(p-methoxyphenyl)phosphonylchloride expressed by formula IV. Subsequently, the compound is reacted with a Grignard reagent expressed by formula V, which is obtained by treating 2,2-dibromo-1,1-binaphthyl with Mg, to afford a compound expressed by formula VI, which is successively subjected to optical resolution and reduction. |
