Summary:PURPOSE:To improve operability, by storing a character string consisting of a KANA (Japanese syllabary) character transiently, converting a stored character string to a KATAKANA (Square form of Japanese syllabary) character string, and afterwards, converting the character string to a HIRAGANA (cursive form of Japanese syllabary) character sequentially from the forefront or the rearend of the KATAKANA character string. CONSTITUTION:A character input part 1 inputs the character string consisting of the KANA character, and a character string storage part 2 stores the character string, and a Japanese language processing part converts all or a part of the character string stored in the character string storage part 2 to the KATAKANA character string by the request of a KATAKANA conversion request input part 9, and afterwards, converts the character string to the HIRAGANA character sequentially from the forefront or the rearend of the KATAKANA character string by the request of the KATAKANA conversion request input part 9. In such a way, it is possible to convert each clause to the clause in which the KATAKANA character and the HIRAGANA character are mixed observing the result of KANA-KANJI (Chinese character) conversion in an easy key operation in which a sentence including KATAKANA inscription is inputted and rapidly.
