Summary: | PURPOSE:To reduce the maintenance cost of a golf link, by placing a porous layer composed of pumice, limestone, etc., at the bottom of a partitioned area to form an underdrain and covering the porous layer with earth and sand. CONSTITUTION:The turf vegetation unit 1 is composed of a bottom plate 2 and vertical frame plates 3 encircling the bottom plate 2. A porous layer 6 is formed by filling the bottom part of the partitioned box 4 with a porous material 5 such as pumice. The porous layer 6 is covered with earth and sand, laminated with a turf vegetation layer 7 and planted with turf 8. Needles 9, 9... are attached downward to the lower face of the bottom plate 5 of the partitioned box 4 to improve the fixation of the box to the prepared ground. |
