Summary:PURPOSE:To facilitate the duct connection work for a ventilating fan which ventilates the room space through an in-ceiling duct by installing a duct connecting frame having a vertical plate with a cylindrical duct connecting part to an opening in the ceiling, etc., by its flange. CONSTITUTION:A duct connecting frame 6 is inserted in a ceiling opening 12 with its duct connecting part 7 so positioned that a beam 11 disposed in the ceiling may not be present under it, and the duct connecting frame 6 is fixedly attached to the ceiling by fixing the side 9 to the beam 11 at two opposing locations across the vertical plate 8 of the flange 9. Then, a duct 6 is connected to the duct connecting part 7, and a tape 13 is wrapped around the joint to seal up. By this constitution, the duct connecting work can be faciliated.
