Summary:PURPOSE:To sufficiently supply liquid coolant to parts to be ground, and smoothen the flowing of chips to eliminate loading of the meshes by setting the direction of weft or warp of the mesh with the opening of 0.4-1.5mm and the density of 10-30 mesh at angles from 10-45 deg. to a grinding piece. CONSTITUTION:A flexible grinding piece providing a super grits-layer 6 on one side of a mesh-base material 4 not to clog the meshes by resin bond 5 are butted and wind-bonded on an outer peripheral surface of a wheel base body while holding the super grits-layer outside to form a super grits grinding wheel. In this case, the mesh-base material 4 is formed by warps and wefts made of inorganic or organic synthetic resin set nearly at right angles, and its opening is set to be 0.4-1.5mm, its density being set to be 10-30 mesh, and thus the flowing of chips and the supply of liquid coolant can be sufficiently performed. Further, the direction of warps or wefts of the mesh base material 4 is set at angles from 10-45 deg. to the longitudinal direction of the grinding piece. As a result, the distribution of grits in the cross direction of the wheel to the grinding face becomes uniform.
