PURPOSE: To achieve the stable operation suitable for the load without increasing the size of an outdoor unit by controlling the opening/closing of a refrigerant inlet side control valve and the output of a compressor driving motor according to the load of each indoor heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: The indoor temperature of indoor units B, C is set by an operation control parts 61, 71 to start the operation. Indoor control parts 60, 70 gives an operation command if the detected temperature by indoor temperature sensors 62, 72 is lower than the set value, and starts fan motors 41M, 42M. An outdoor control part 90 opens control valves 21, 22 of outdoor heat exchangers 31, 32 to operate a fan motor 3M, and drives a compressor driving motor 50M with high output. For example, if the temperature of a room containing the indoor unit B is lower than the set value, the indoor control part 60 gives the operation interruption command, the outdoor control part 90 closes the control valve 21, and switches the compressor driving motor 50M to the low output. When both temperatures of two rooms are lower than the set value, the indoor control parts 60, 70 gives the operation interruption command, and the outdoor control part 90 closes the control valves 21, 22 to stop the compressor driving motor 50M.
