Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a clear print by enabling energy to be sufficiently applied in a transfer process, by laminating a heat resistant base material layer and a thermal transfer ink layer composed of a microcapsule having UV setting ink built-in and a binder. CONSTITUTION:A capsule having a UV ink composition built-in is prepared, and an ink layer is formed on a polyester film by using 10pts.wt. of this microcapsule and 90pts.wt. of low polycondensation benzyltoluenesulfonamide resin as a binder. This UV ink sheet 1 is drawn out from a feed roll 8 and a latent image is formed on the UV sheet 1 wit a matrix liquid crystal shutter (LCS) 4 by ultraviolet rays of a UV lamp 2. On the latent image, UV ink at a portion through which ultraviolet rays pass with the LCS is cured, and the UV ink at the portion through which ultraviolet rays do not pass is kept as liquid as it is. Then, the UV sheet 1 enters a heating pressure zone and is put upon a recording paper 3 to be pressed. The non-cured UV ink flows out from the capsule, and an image is formed on the recording paper 1. |
