Summary:PURPOSE:To uniformize a shape correction and to improve a productivity by operating work rolls consisting of crown rolls having an S-shaped curve or intermediate rolls while moving in the roll axial direction and the mutually reverse direction in a synchronized speed. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower rolls of the work rolls 2', 2a' or the intermediate rolls 3, 3a are constituted of the curved crown rolls having the S-shaped curve respectively and each roll is disposed in right and left symmetry. While a stripe 1 is passed, the upper and lower roll of each roll are moved in the mutually reverse direction in the synchronized speed. In such a constitution, the quality and productivity are improved.
