Summary:PURPOSE:To attain the drawing of ruled lines of the same length with a simple key operation, by storing a set value of ruled lines and a framing area, and referencing said storage content in drawing other ruled line. CONSTITUTION:A cursor is moved to a position of, e.g., 3 as shown in the figure and a lateral ruled line key is depressed. Although the presence of the area designation is discriminated at first, since the area designation key is not operated, the procedure is advanced to the next step. The content of a ruled line start point register 16 is read out, a head address of a line of the cursor is added, the actual start point position address is obtained and set to the start point position register. Then, the content of the ruled end point register 17 is read out, the head address of the line of the cursor is added, the actual end position address is obtained and set to the end position point register. Further, the lateral ruled line is drawn with a lateral ruled line set/reset subroutine.
