Summary: | PURPOSE:To reduce the varying torque, by controlling a load torque such that the difference between the varying torque produced from an internal combustion engine and the load torque absorbed by an auxiliary machine is minimized for the entire rotary speed of crank. CONSTITUTION:During operation of an internal combustion engine 1, a microcomputer 6 obtains an instantaneous rotary speed according to the output from a crank angle sensor contained in a distributor 3 so as to obtain a difference between an average rotary speed of engine and the instantaneous rotary speed on the basis of said instantaneous rotary speed. Then the magnitude of said differential speed is decided, and a load current command level for decreasing the current load current is set if the differential speed is negative, while a load current command level for increasing the current load current is set if the differential speed is positive. Then the load being applied onto an auxiliary machine or an alternator 5 is controlled through a load control section 7 according to said load current command level. |
