Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain more higher mold registerability between upper and lower molds and consequently make it possible to far more miniaturize and simplify the whole vulcanizer by a method wherein a clearance between the underside of a stopper receptacle and the upper end surface of a stopper and is freely adjusted or a spacer is interposed in a clearance so as to provide a preventive means against the rise of an upper and a lower mold shells. CONSTITUTION:A stopper mount 20, on the bottom side of which a hydraulic pressure cylinder assembly 5 is fixed and in which a preventive means against the rising of an upper and a lower mold shells 3 and 4 is provided, is arranged below a press base 2 or a preventive means against the rise of the upper and the lower mold shells 3 and 4 is provided between the press base 2 and a projected plate 63 which is provided radially on the outer periphery of the horizontal bed 7 of the lower mold shell 3. Concretely, a clearance between the upper end surface of a liftable stopper rod 55 and a stopper counter below the press base 2 is set to be zero or a spacer 69 is provided in a clearance made between the underside of the head part 64 of a rod 65 fixed to the press base 2 and the top surface of the projected plate 64 so as not to allow the rise of the upper and the lower mold shells 3 and 4, thus completely preventing the molds from opening or suppressing the opening of the molds to the slight one even when the opening of the molds occurs.
