Summary: | PURPOSE:To eliminate a private line and accessory devices for monitor by providing an exchange with a memory, where the number of cache pulses sent to a public telephone set is stored, and an input/output device to which the number of cache pulses outputted form the memory is inputted to output the number of the pertinent public telephone set. CONSTITUTION:An exchange 100 is provided with a memory 102 where the number of cache, pulses is stored and an input/output device 103. For example, if a public telephone set A is busy, the exchange 100 sends charging pulses to the public telephone set A at the intervals of a certain time for the purpose of receiving coins. The number of cumulative cache pulses sent to the public telephone set A is stored in the memory 102. The other telephone sets B-N are handled similarly. If the number of cumulative cache pulses in the memory 102, namely, the number of coins in a coin receiving box reaches a certain value, the number of the pertinent public telephone set is outputted to the input/ output device 103 to inform the maintenance man of an office of this state. Data in the memory 102 is analyzed to detect the difference of frequency in use due to installation positions of public telephone sets troubles, etc., and public telephone sets are managed in the gross. |
