Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent wrong auto bracket photographing from being executed, and also, to improve the operability by providing a detecting means for detecting a fact that a photographing frequency of a counter means has reached a prescribed frequency, and releasing an auto bracket mode storage of a mode storage means in accordance with said detection. CONSTITUTION:When the first auto bracket photographing is ended, a charge operation of each mechanism, etc., is executed, and whether an auto bracket mode is set or not is discriminated. In such a case, since the auto bracket mode is set, an auto bracket photographing control means 103 continues the continuous photographing by varying automatically an exposure value, until it is detected by a detecting means 107 that an auto bracket photographing frequency counted by a photographing frequency counter 106 has reached a prescribed frequency. When it is detected that the auto bracket photographing frequency has reached the prescribed frequency, the detecting means 107 outputs a stop signal to the auto bracket photographing control means 103, and also, outputs a release signal to a mode storage means 102.
