Summary:PURPOSE:To enable removal of colloidal impurities and removal of anionic and cationic impurities as well and to prevent the outflow of fibers during operation by using a water treatment device into which nonlinear fibrous ion exchange resins are packed. CONSTITUTION:The nonlinear type anionic ion exchange fibers 4 having >=15kg/mm tensile strength, >=10 denier fiber diameter and 1-10mm fiber length and cation exchange fibers 4' are loaded into the water treatment device 1. As a result, the colloidal impurities are removable and in addition, the anionic and cationic impurities are removable as well. The outflow of the fibers during the operation is prevented and the increase of the differential filtration pressure is lessened.
