PURPOSE:To easily obtain desired copying by providing an image forming mode information input means, image forming mode information memory medium, memory medium receiving part and image forming means to a titled machine. CONSTITUTION:Copying information including; for example, number of copies, copying magnification, original size, paper size, etc., is inputted to the input device provided separately from a copying machine body. The information is stored into the memory medium such as; for example, IC card 116, provided freely attachably and detachably to the input device. The memory medium is thereafter removed from the input device and is mounted to the copying machine body. The copied image is formed by the image forming means according to the copying mode information stored in the memory medium when a copying button 128 is operated after the original 124 is imposed on the image exposing part of the copying machine body. Magnetic recording media; for example, magnetic tapes and magnetic disks in addition IC cards 116 including a cartridge contg. a memory having a RAM are utilized for the memory medium. The desired copying is thereby obtd. without errors.
