Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent a solvent from running along the rotary shaft of a solvent applying roller and leaking out of a solvent tank by increasing the intermediate diameter of the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material 16 which is drawn out of a magazine 14 is exposed to an image on the outer periphery of a rotary drum 20 by an exposure head 22 and sent to a water applying part 26. The water applying part 26 conveys the photosensitive material 16 while the material abuts on the outer periphery of the water applying roller 100, and the roller 100 applies water 77 from a water tank 70 to the emulsion surface of the photosensitive material 16. The water surface swells at both end parts of the roller through the rotation of the roller 100 and part of water runs along the rotary shaft 100A and moves out of the tank 70, but water moving to an O ring 108 is shaken down through the rotation of the O ring 108 and discharged. Then the photosensitive material 16 is sent to a heat developing and transfer part 28, and brought into contact with an image receiving material 32 from a tray 30, so that the image is transferred thermally to the material 32. |
