Summary:PURPOSE:To attain mutual utilization for communication and call without disconnecting the line reorigination by providing the titled equipment with a switch controller and controlling a switch through a keyboard on a terminal or a speaking equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a transmitter/receiver 14 is unhooked from the speaking equipment 10 before the end of communication or the disconnection of a communication line, a transmitter/receiver status signal outputted from the speaking equipment is supplied to the switch controller 15. At the end of communication, the controller 15 transmits an instruction for switching its function to call to the switch 16, so that a change-over switch 17 is switched and the line 21 is switched to the calling function after ending the communication. Switching from call to communication based upon the operation of a keyboard 13 and switching from communication to call at the time of termination are similarly executed. Consequently, the mutual utilization for communication and call can be executed without disconnecting the line and executing reorigination.
