Summary:PURPOSE:To supply a DC power to a home bus by integrally associating an information distributor in a power supply having an AC power supply and a DC power supply and supplying the DC power from the distributor. CONSTITUTION:A power supply 5 for a home bus has an information 2 distributing function, a signal from a booster is distributed through a protecting circuit 29 by an information distributor 28 and supplied to home buses. Simultaneously, DC15V distributed by the distributor 28 is supplied through a rectifier 26 and a power supply circuit 27 to the bus connected by way of a coaxial cable or the like, and supplied to an IFU (interface unit) connected through an information plug socket. The IFU uses the DC15V as its drive source, and receives an instruction from a controller by an addressed microcomputer to perform ON/OFF control of various units connected to the IFU.
