Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a sinker for casting capable of readily removing a snell from obstructions, by proving an L-shaped balance partially formed as a spring in a balance hole of a sinker body and rotatably inserting the sinker body in the bottom of the spring. CONSTITUTION:The aimed sinker for casting, obtained by forming an L-shaped balance 2 prepared by forming part of a rising part 6 as, e.g. a helical spring 4, in a balance hole 1 of a sinker body 3, positioning the sinker body at the bottom of the above-mentioned spring 4 and rotatably inserting the sinker body therethrough and capable of readily removing hooking with accumulating repulsive force in the spring provided in the L-shaped balance of the sinker by pulling a reel line and applying the repulsive force to a fishhook in the direction opposite to the biting in direction when a snell is hooked by obstructions.
