Summary:PURPOSE:To easily recognize the required transmission end time of a transmission data by providing a means calculating the required transmission end time from size information of unsent information data and data transmission speed information. CONSTITUTION:When an operator inputs a data name of information to be transmitted from a KBD 6, the CPU 1 accesses a DISK 4 according to the data name of input information and stores the information data and its header into areas 72, 71 of a RAM 7. Then the CPU 1 reads the data size from the header area 71 and stores it into a storage area S. Moreover, the CPU 1 stores the transmission speed and the transmission unit bit number from the KBD 6 into storage areas S, U. Then the CPU 1, based on the size of the stored information and unsent information data, calculates the required transmission end time sequentially and displays the result of calculation onto a prescribed location.
