PURPOSE:To realize a handy manual operation without using any cord by providing a receiving means for radio communication to a vehicle control circuit set at the side of a ceiling self-traveling vehicle together with a means set at the side of an operation device for transmission of radio signals to said receiving means. CONSTITUTION:A drive motor 8 and a lift motor 21 are connected to a control CPU 26 via a drive controller 22, an inverter 23, and switches 24 and 25. Both switches 24 and 25 are controlled by the CPU 26 so that one of both switches is kept opened with the other one kept closed. A transmission/reception coil is connected to a transmission/reception control circuit for a transmitter/receiver 28 and a manual operation device 30 set at the vehicle side. Thus the mutual transmission/reception is possible between the device 30 and the transmitter/ receiver 28. The factors for troubles or stoppage of the vehicle can be transmitted to the device 30. In such constitution, the situation is grasped when the vehicle is stopped and the manual operation is facilitated.
