Summary: | PURPOSE:To contrive to shorten the shaping work and consequently shorten the production time by a method wherein a reinforcing fabric is shaped from its widthwise middle part to both outsides so as to form a projecting strip part having a plurality of strips and, after that, wound round a rotor having tooth grooves so as to be laminated to a belt main body component member by fixing under pressure, and finally the resultant laminate is cut off and vulcanized. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing fabric 8, which is brought into the mold 8 of a tooth form shaping device 9, is guided to a first - a fifth shaping jigs 11-15, each of which is rotated around a shaft 17, so as to be shaped in regular order from the widthwise middle part to both outsides in width direction in order to form into a corrugated plate having a plurality of strips of projecting strip parts 8a, 8a,... extending in the longitudinal direction of the fabric. The resultant toothed reinforcing fabric 8 is wound round a cylindrical drum 18. Toothed grooves 18a, 18b,... are made on the cylindrical drum 18. The respective projecting strip parts 8a of the reinforcing fabric 8 are guided and fitted to the respective tooth grooves 18a. A rubber sheet 19 is wound round the cylindrical drum 18 simultaneously with the winding of the reinforcing fabric 8 so as be superposed to each other, and it is softened by heating, and the reinforcing fabric 8 and the rubber sheet 19 are fixed under pressure with a press roll 20 so as to obtain a rotary blade 23 into a predetermined width and vulcanized. |
