Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the runaway of a sequence due to a power source and a block noise by providing at least one means of a voltage detecting means and a pulse width detecting means in a semiconductor integrated circuit including a processor. CONSTITUTION:A power source voltage detecting circuit 12, which is a means to detect a power source voltage, detects a power source voltage level in which a circuit action can not be executed. A clock detecting circuit 9, which is a means to detect a clock, detects the clock width of the clock used for a semiconductor integrated circuit and detects a short pulse and a long pulse in which the circuit action cannot be executed. By these detecting signals, a resetting control circuit 14 control a semiconductor integrated circuit to the initial condition. Thus, the signal in the semiconductor integrated circuit is not outputted by the erroneous combination due to a sequence disturbance.
