Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain an optical disk substrate having small optical anisotropy, high thermal deformation temp., and excellent stability to temp. and humidity by forming a transparent substrate of a photosetting resin consisting of an acrylic group or methacrylic group-contg. compd. and photopolymn. initiator. CONSTITUTION:The photosetting resin compsn. formed by compounding 0.5-5.0%pts.wt. photopolymn. initiator to 99-99.5pts.wt. material contg. the compd. expressed by the formula and curing the compsn. is used as the underlying layer of the 1st optical disk and the transparent substrate of the 2nd optical disk. R1 is -H and -CH3, n is 0-5. The optical disk obtd. by sticking a metallic film, recording film, etc., consisting of Al, Bi, Ti alloys, TbFe alloy, TbC0 alloy, org. dyes, etc., to said substrate hardly generates the softening and expansion of the substrate even if said disk is rested for a long period of time at a wide temp. range from low temp. of <=-40 deg.C to high temp. of >=120 deg.C and in a high temp. and high humidity (>=60 deg.C, >=95% RH) atmosphere; therefore, the excessive stressing of the films sticking to the disk as well as the cracking and exfoliating of said films are obviated. |
