Summary:PURPOSE:To dynamically and directly know a load dispersing state from plural host systems against each input/output device in a subsystem and a load dispersing state between respective input/output devices, by providing a load state holding means and a display means on every input/output controller. CONSTITUTION:From host systems 200-20n, an access to each input/output controller 20 is executed and the corresponding subsystem 10 is controlled. On this controller 20, a load state holding means 21 and a display means 22 are provided, and the means 21 stores the operating state of an input/output device 11 of the system 10, in accordance with each channel route. The means 22 displays dynamically the storage contents of the means 21, a load dispersed state from plural host systems and a dispersing state between each input/output controller are recognized dynamically since a statistical method is not used, and a satisfactory job management can be executed surely so that an equal access can be executed.
