CONSTITUTION:A pigment ink composition additionally containing (D) spherical resin particles (e.g. PS, polymethyl methacrylate or PVC, having preferably 0.01-1.0mum diameter) in a pigment ink composition for ball point pens consisting of (A) a pigment (preferably carbon black), (B) a dispersing agent (preferably polymer dispersing agent) and (C) a liquid medium.
