Summary: | PURPOSE:To attain contention processing without enflicting a threat to the user by an incoming ring tone by reducing the volume of the incoming ring tone during the setting time of a timer started at a calling fault. CONSTITUTION:If outgoing/incoming contention exists, a radio connector 2 fails the calling of a radio telephone set 3. A timer of a radio telephone set control circuit 39 is started in response to the fault and an incoming call tone ringing circuit 37 is controlled via a sound volume attenuation circuit 36 during the timer period to reduce the sound volume of the incoming ring tone by a prescribed amount. Thus, the incoming/outgoing contention processing is applied without inflicting a threat to the user by the sound volume of the incoming ring tone. |
