Summary:PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of dusts, oils, water drops, etc. and to permit condensation of light efficiently by providing a layer of a small refractive index. CONSTITUTION:A transparent body 2 having 1.3-1.5 refractive index is formed to above and below a layer 1 of a fluorescent material having 1.5-3.0 refractive index wherein said layer comprises glass, etc. for forming a condenser contg. the fluorescent material. Fluorescence having 0-50 deg. angle theta of incidence is reflected totally at an interface of the layer 1 and the transparent body 2, and outputted fluorescence is concentrated on an end surface of the outputted light. Condensation of light at high efficiency is realized by this internal total reflection without being influenced by the external dusts, oils, or water drops, etc.
