Summary:PURPOSE:To equalize a film thickness of ink which is printed on a substrate to be printed, by a method wherein a film is composed of a non-image area having ink repellence and a printing image area having compatibility with ink, of which an impression depth of the printing image area is made shallow at the central part and deep in the peripheral part. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive resin layer 12 is formed on an aluminium substrate 11 and a square silicone rubber layer 13 of a flat form is formed in a mosaic thereon to prepare a non-image area 14. A square impression 15 part with no silicone rubber layer 13 is made a printing image area 16, Then the bottom face of the impression 15 is etched excepting its central circular part 17 and is made shallow at the central part 17 and deep in the peripheral part 18. Therefore, a part having a deep impression can be formed near a corner part 19 where the bottom face of an impression in an area having largest ink surface tension intersects sides of two faces. Then, when printing is carried out on a substrate to be printed, a distribution of a film thickness of ink can be equalized over the whole printing surface.
