Summary: | PURPOSE:To keep a processing speed low and to raise a dynamic range of a printer printing surface, by a method wherein upper and lower thresholds for a binarizing A/D converter are used as variable reference voltages, and the reference voltages are varied through D/A converters just before starting printing with a printer and, thereby, the reference voltages are so determined that a binarizing output level reaches to a proper level for the printer printing. CONSTITUTION:According to the value of a threshold code generation part 21, a direction is imparted to a binarizing output counting part 22, and the value is preset to determine the number to be counted. After that, by a counter in a threshold decision part 23 a lower threshold is set at the minimum, and an upper threshold is set at the maximum, and upper and lower reference voltages for an A/D converter 26 are imparted through D/A converters 24, 25. With a direction of a printer printing, an internal CPU etc. receives the direction to start pre-sampling the data value. Namely, with the direction imparted from the CPU etc. to a control part 28, the A/D converter 26 conducts a sampling, and the sampled data is fed into the binarizing output counting part 22. |
