PURPOSE:To make it possible to dilute a highly concentrated solution of salt with water and to prepare a solution of salt with fixed concentration, by comparing the concentration of standard aqueous solution of salt with that of an equeous solution of salt to be measured to measure the concentration of the solution of salt and adjusting the concentration of the solution of salt to be measured to that of the standard solution of salt. CONSTITUTION:A refractometer 4 to measure the concentration of an aqueous solution of salt to be measured is connected to circulating, circuit 1 for the standard aqueous solution of salt and to a circulating circuit 5 for the solution of salt to be measured. In a controller part 8, the amount of water or salt to be fed is indicated depending upon the output signal of the refractometer 4. Further a water or salt feeding means 9 is operated by the output signal of the controller part 8. Consequently, a highly concentrated aqueous of salt can be diluted with water and an aqueous solution of salt with fixed pressure can be accurately prepared. By this method, a salt dissolving process of brewing industry, etc., can be made continuous, automatized and labor can be reduced.
