Summary:PURPOSE:To control a dimension from an electrode end surface to an inner electrode with high precision so as to reduce fluctuation in a focus characteristic of electron beams by disposing and fixing inner electrode on a position corresponding to an aperture formed on a side wall of a cup-shaped electrode. CONSTITUTION:Inner electrodes 9 and 10 are disposed with respectively fixed distances at the rear of facing surfaces 6a and 7a of fifth and sixth cup-shaped electrodes 6 and 7 so that the inner electrodes 9 and 10 correspond to apertures 6c and 7c which are bored on side walls 6b and 7b of the respective electrodes 6 and 7. The inner electrodes 9 and 10 are fixed on inner walls of the side walls 6a and 7a, respectively. These throughholes 6c and 7c should have aperture dimensions in such a degree that positions of the inner electrodes 9 and 10 can be recognized from outside. When positions of the inner electrodes 9 and 10 are identified with those of the apertures 6c and 7c bored on the side walls of the five and six electrodes 6 and 7, position alignment of the inner electrodes 9 and 10 is facilitated from the electrode end surfaces of the inner electrodes 9 and 10.
