Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent time delay or signal missing by using a moving head so as to record or reproduce a signal to/from a spiral or concentric track and using a stationary head so as to record or reproduce the signal to/from other track while the moving head moves from the end to the start of the spiral track or between plural concentric tracks. CONSTITUTION:The head is switched to a magnetic head h1 for a signal to be recorded when a disk comes to 1 3/4 revolution, the recording is started from a point (a) on a disk D1 at the inner circumference of the track T1 succeedingly, the recording is finished at a point (b) of 1/4 revolution to form a track t1. While the track t1 is formed, the magnetic head H1 moves on the radius of the disk D1 and restored to the point A by the controller. Thus, when the recording of the signal is finished and the signal of the track T1 is reproduced by the lateral magnetic head H1 and when the magnetic head H1 finishes the reproduction from the point A to the point B, the magnetic head h1 reproduces the signal from the point (a) to the point (b) of the track t1. Thus, the signal is reproduced instantly just after the recording and the signal is recorded/reproduced without missing.
