Summary:PURPOSE:To make the temperature distribution uniform in a room for which the space cooling or heating is being performed and reduce the energy loss by providing a pressure sensor that detects the air pressure of ambient air and controlling dampers such as air supply damper, air discharge damper, ambient air cooling damper etc. based on the detection signal from the pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor 27 is disposed in a first air dust 6 through which ambient air is taken-in, and a micro computer 28 is disposed in an air heat pump unit 1. When the pressure sensor 27 detects that the air pressure of ambient air has becomes larger than the predetermined value, and the microcomputer 28 determines that such a condition has existed for a certain duration, a signal to close dampers is outputted from the microcomputer 28 to actuators 29 for dampers 23, 24, 25, 26 to forcibly close these dampers 23, 24, 25, 26 to shut out the outside air from entering the room 2. In this manner, when the air pressure become larger than the predetermined value, the ambient air is prevented from entering the room to which the space cooling or heating is being performed, and the space cooling or heating can be performed solely by circulating the room air.
