Summary:PURPOSE:To measure the power of a four-wheel driven vehicle in turning motion efficiently and to simulate its actual traveling state by setting the steering angle and test speed after the start of the power measurement optionally and continuously. CONSTITUTION:The chassis dynamo of the four-wheel driven vehicle 10 is controlled by a control circuit 14 with the output torque of dynamometers 4a-4d coupled directly with respective four rollers 10a-10d to the traveling speed of respective driving wheels 110a-110d. The horizontal distance between the centers of the front and rear wheels and the distance between the king pins of the driving wheels 100 are set by the wheel base setter 210 and king-pin distance setter 212 of this circuit 14. Further, a steering angle setter 214 sets the steering angle theta of the driving wheels 100 and a speed setter 216 sets the test speed V of the power test of the driving wheels 100; and said setting operation is performed before the power test and the angle theta and speed V are varied properly after the start of the power test.
