Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a preview device with superior operability by providing a motor rotation controller which reverses a motor and return respective members to their original positions when a preview switching member resets a preview mode. CONSTITUTION:The motor rotation controller which rotates a motor 14 forward and stops it at a specific position in preview mode, reverses the motor 14 when the preview mode is reset, and rotates the motor 14 forward if a release mode is selected before the preview mode is reset is provided in an MPU 11. When the preview mode is selected, the motor 14 stops at a stop-down end position 73 and when the preview mode is reset, the motor 14 is reversed to move a brush 67 to its home position and return respective members to their original positions. Then if the release mode is selected by operating a selection member externally before the preview mode is reset, the motor 14 is rotated forward to perform exposure control. Consequently, the preview mode is easily set and reset.
