Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce measuring error by enhancing centering accuracy, by constituting a guide part by mutually contacting a plurality of cylindrical guide members, of which the outer peripheries are formed so as to be fitted to a plurality of measuring diameters, in a slidable manner. CONSTITUTION:A guide part 20 consists of three kinds of cylindrical members 21, 22, 23, different in outer diameter, formed so that the outer diameters thereof can be fitted to three kinds of the different inner diameters of articles to be measured having small, medium and large diameters; the members 21-23 are combined so as to slide with each other to be fixed to a cylinder main body. At first, the guide member having an outer diameter fitted to the inner diameter of the article to be measured is selected to be inserted in said article to be measured and the centering of the measuring elements 25, 26 of a detection part 19 is performed. By this method, the inner diameters of three kinds of the different articles to be measured can be subjected to centering by one guide part and, further, the step replacement thereof can be also easily performed because the guide members 21-23 may be slid with each other.
