Summary:PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance/check of pulser coil and prevent influence of brush noise upon pulse coil output signal by arranging a pulser coil in the neighborhood of a crank shaft on the brush side, and by installing a starter motor apart from the crank shaft with respect to the brush. CONSTITUTION:A pulser coil 28 is arranged in the neighborhood of a crank shaft on the same side as the brush 22 of a starter motor 19, Which is located apart from the crank shaft with respect to the brush 22. This facilitates maintenance/check if the brush 22 and/or pulser coil 28 is arranged at the front, even though an internal combustion engine 6 is installed, for ex., close to the wall. Noise generated from the brush 22 of starter motor 19 at the time of starting is shielded by the crank shaft located closer to the brush 22 than the pulser coil 28, to provide prevention of influence of the pulser coil 28 upon the output signal, which should enable accomplishment of smooth starting.
