Summary: | PURPOSE:To make the boundary line of a dyed part and an undyed part distinct by applying a film consisting of a coating agent which cannot be dyed, to the whole surface of a plastic lens, cutting and eliminating a part of the film, and dyeing its excised part. CONSTITUTION:A film 2 consisting of a coating agent which cannot be dyed, for instance, a polysiloxane series film 2 is applied to the whole surface of a plastic lens 1 by a spraying method, etc. Subsequently, a part of the film 2 is eliminated to a desired shape 3 by using a diamond grind stone, etc. Next, the lens 1 which has been cut and eliminated is immersed in a prescribed dyeing liquid for a prescribed time and dyeing is executed. After the dyeing, the lens 1 is washed enough by flowing water and dried, by which the object dyed lens 1 can be obtained. |
