Summary:PURPOSE:To attempt complete combustion by making only the speed of a post- combustion zone stoker slower when an abnormality is detected at the burn-out point on the post-combustion zone stoker and, further, increasing the air distribution to compensate for the reduction of air in the drying zone and combustion zone. CONSTITUTION:When a signal from a burn-out abnormality detection device 68 is inputted to a control device 69, a negative bias is applied to the stoker speed setting signal through lines 57, 58, 50, and 51 in order to make the speeds of post combustion zone stoker S3, ash thickness adjusting stoker driving hydraulic cylinders 11 and 12 slower. On the other hand respective speeds of a dust pushing-out, drying zone, and combustion zone are controlled as they are by the output of a control device 67. At the same time the air distribution to the post combustion zone is increased by an air volume control device 39 and the burn-out point correction function of a damper opening control device 30 after a certain delay time given by the control device 69 has passed. With this constitution it is possible to carry out complete combustion.
