Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a polyolefin of high stereoregularity, outstanding in polymer disposition esp. fluidity and granular form, by (co)polymerization, in high activity, of olefin(s) using as the catalyst, a combination of specific solid catalytic component and organometallic compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective polyolefin can be obtained by (co)polymerization of olefin(s) (esp. 3-8C alpha-olefin) using, as the catalyst, a combination of an organometallic compound and a solid catalytic component prepared by (A) bringing pref. and electron donor (pref. benzoic acid or diethyl succinate) into contact with a solid matter made by contact between (i) a silicon oxide (e.g., silica) and/or aluminum oxide (e.g., alumina), (ii) a magnesium halide (pref. magnesium chloride), and (iii) an organometallic compound (pref. triethylaluminum or diethylzinc) (B) followed by contact of a titanium compound (pref. titanium tetrachloride) and/or vanadium compound (pref. vanadium tetrachloride). |
