Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of processing by handling the constitution and the connecting relation of an object system in a hierarchical form to first decide roughly and then finely a route between start and end points. CONSTITUTION:An object system is divided into plural subsystems and each subsystem is further divided into smaller subsystems. Thus the constitution of the object system is shown in a hierarchical form. At the same time, the connecting relation among component elements is also shown in a hierarchical form in response to the hierarchical structure of the component elements. These hierarchical data are used to decide first the connecting relation among systems of higher hierarchies. Thus a rough route is searched and decided. Then the connecting relation is decided among subsystems of low-order hierarchies to search and decide a fine route.
