Summary:PURPOSE:To aim at preventing a rotor electrode from being broken, by incorporating an electrode protecting part partly covering a rotor, integrally with the rotor electrode secured to the front part of the rotor and made of electric wave noise reducing material such as ferrite, carbon or the like. CONSTITUTION:A distributor is disposed in the center section of its rotor 14 made of in insulator such as synthetic resin or the like, with a rotor electrode 16 in which a center fitting 15 made of wear-resistant metal is mounted by calking or the like. This rotor electrode 16 is formed from electric wave noise reducing materials such as ferrite, carbon, electrically conductive ceramic materials, porous sintered materials impregnated with silicone oil or the like, and is integrally secured by rotor resin. In this arrangement, an electrode protecting part 17 made of the same material as that of the rotor 4 is integrally incorporated with the latter so as to partly cover the upper part and both side surface of the rotor electrode 16, and a predetermined gap 18 is ensured between the upper surface of the rotor electrode 16 and the rotor 4 by this protecting part 17. With this arrangement it is possible to prevent the rotor electrode form being broken.
