Summary:PURPOSE:To form a deodorizing sheet capable of shutting off only a fragrance or a malodor while keeping air-permeability, by using a deodorizing coating obtained by mixing a deodorizing component composed of a ferrous salt and citric acid and/or a citrate, a binder resin, and an organic liquid medium. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing coating prepared from a deodorizing component composed of a ferrous salt and citric acid and/or a citrate, a binder resin, and an organic liquid medium. The deodorizing component preferably comprises 80$90pts.wt. ferrous salt, 15-5pts.wt. citric acid, and 5-1pt.wt. citrate. A deodorizing sheet is obtained by coating and/or impregnating a sheet with the deodorizing coating above-mentioned and drying it. A preferable ferrous salt is ferrous sulfate and a preferable citrate is sodium citrate.
