Summary:PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of safety and high efficiency in panel setting operation, by performing a horizontally directional positioning with a moving frame being supported on a moving base block, a height adjustment with a lifting block corresponding to expansion or contraction of a pantagraph type link mechanism and a tilt adjustment with a tilting block, respectively, while keeping an attitude with a gripper. CONSTITUTION:A manipulator is supported hangingly from a moving base block 3 and provided with a horizontally shiftable moving frame 6 and a lifting block 11 vertically liftable to this moving frame 6 according to expansion or contraction of a horizontal driving device of the frame 6 and a pantagraph type link mechanism 10. And, in this lifting block 11, there are provided with a tilting block 14 being rotatable between both horizontal and vertical positions and a tilting deice for this block 14, and furthermore there are provided with a panel block 18 being supported free of parallel movement and rotation to a main surface of the tilting block 14 and each of parallel and rotation driving devices 20 and 22 for this panel block. Next, on the panel block 18, there are provided with a panel gripper 34 consisting of a pair of claws capable of opening or closing motion for gripping and holding a panel 32 and an on-off operation deice 36, whereby panels in various senses are held, thus panel setting operation is safely and efficiently performable.
