Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent the application of stress to a root section in a connecting terminal by forming an interpole connecting section for a field coil in constitution in which the connecting terminal can be moved on thermal expansion. CONSTITUTION:A field coil 3 is shaped by winding flat type copper wires to a multilayer shape in an edgewise winding manner, and inter-wire insulators 4 are executed among each winding. Connecting terminals 5 for connections to the next poles are each fitted to an uppermost-layer winding section and a lowermost layer winding section. In interpole connection, the connecting terminals 5 for adjacent coils are connected alternately, and mounted to a support fitting 6 by using recessed type support fittings 11. The size of a groove for the recessed type support fitting 11 is represented by connecting terminal width added with a thermal expansion value after insulation. Accordingly, the application of forced stress to root sections (a) in the connecting terminals 5 is prevented. |
